Eden Bleu Hotel in the Seychelles, East Africa enlisted the help of Lawler Sustainability to conduct an energy audit and develop a sustainability strategy that would help the hotel meet sustainability targets and reduce its energy bills.
Energy Audit and Sustainability Strategy Development
Our team began by conducting a detailed analysis of the Eden Bleu Hotel and the current performance of its buildings. We identified energy upgrades requiring an initial capital investment of €685,000 that would return energy savings of over €350,000.
Following this, Lawler Sustainability began work on devising a comprehensive CSR roadmap for Eden Bleu Hotel that would help them realise potential energy savings and meet sustainability targets.
This CSR strategy covered five main pillars for success:
- Energy Conservation
- Water Conservation
- Waste Disposal & Recycling
- Contribution to the Local Economy
- Sustainability Energy Initiatives
Since our work at Eden Bleu, the hotel has already begun to witness energy bills savings of up to €50,000 per annum.
