Q-Parks Car Park in Dublin – Building Energy Ratings Assessment
Building Energy Ratings Asessment for Q-Park Four Courts which offers safe and secure parking in the heart of Dublin. We helped them improve their car park perfomance and reduce energy consumption.
Q-Parks Car Park
The Q Parks car park in the Four Courts area of Dublin is 354.81m2. 43% of the building’s energy consumption is used on lighting, 33% on equipment and 23% on heating, with the remainder split between cooling, water and auxiliary. Parts of the building were at risk of overheating. To combat this, Lawler Sustainability recommended installing reflective coating or shading devices to windows.
To combat the large lighting bill we recommended the installation of a number of renewable technologies. These included solar water heating, PV and air and ground source heat pumps.
