Fitwel Accredited Building Health Assessment
Fitwel is the leading global health certification system, generated by expert analysis of over 3,000 academic research studies, which uniquely allows a portfolio or single project-based approach.
The Fitwel certification has been adopted for prestigious buildings like the new NTMA Building on North Dublin Docks, and in companies like Bouygues Construction for their own fit-out in London. Our team is currently conducting a Fitwel assessment of a building located in Kilkenny, owned by State Street Corporation.
A Fitwel certification is essentially a signal to employees, residents, investors and other stakeholders that you prioritise wellness within the design, development and operations of buildings and communities.
The FITWEL Viral Response Module mitigates viral transmission, builds trust and creates healthy environments.
The certification means that buildings have been assessed for their alignment with the following seven categories:
- Impacts Surrounding Community Health
- Reduces Morbidity and Absenteeism
- Supports Social Equity for Vulnerable Populations
- Instils Feelings of Wellbeing
- Enhances Access to Health Foods
- Promotes Occupant Safety
- Increases Physical Activity
