Leadership in Energy & Environmental Design (LEED) Sustainability Rating System

Leadership in Energy & Environmental Design (LEED) is an internationally recognised green building certification system, providing third-party verification that a building was designed and built using strategies intended to improve performance in areas such as energy savings, water efficiency, CO2 emissions reduction, improved indoor environmental quality.

Developed by the U.S. Green Building Council (USGBC), LEED is intended to provide building owners and operators a concise framework for identifying and implementing practical and measurable green building design, construction, operations and maintenance solutions. Having your building LEED rated demonstrates a company’s desire having an energy efficient and environmentally friendly building. LEED certified buildings often provide healthier work and living environments, which contributes to higher productivity and improved employee health and comfort. Lawler Sustainability have a number of LEED Accredited Professionals in house who can help your building introduce new features and procedures to improve the overall sustainability of the building through energy generation, creating a quality indoor environment and in the case of new builds, select an area where there is convenient access to public transport.
