What Is A Building Retrofit?

A building retrofit refers to the process of making improvements or upgrades to an existing building’s systems, components, or design to enhance its performance, energy efficiency, safety, or functionality. Retrofitting can involve various modifications such as upgrading insulation, replacing outdated HVAC systems with more efficient ones, installing energy-efficient lighting, improving ventilation, or implementing renewable energy systems like solar panels. The goal of a building retrofit is typically to modernise the building, reduce its environmental footprint, lower operating costs, and improve occupant comfort and satisfaction.

Our team have worked with a wide range of clients and building types in order to enhance energy efficiency, reduce carbon emissions and costs by up to 50%.
