Lawler Sustainability was engaged by the HSE to complete a range of energy services at five HSE Primary Care Centres.
Provision of BER Certification for the PPP
Lawler Sustainability was thrilled to provide full BER certification on what was our first Publicly Procured Project (PPP).
This project was in collaboration with Balfour Beatty and JJ Rhatigan & Co and involved works at five HSE primary care centres in Dungarvan, Kilcock, Wexford, Waterford, and Carrick-On-Suir.
The HSE Primary Care Centres project was the first Publicly Procured Project (PPP) that Lawler Sustainability worked on.
Health & Wellbeing
Given the nature of the five centres, they all had strict occupant requirements to encourage health and wellbeing. This included adhering to stringent daylight and natural ventilation requirements on all five sites.
Our in-house Computational Fluid Dynamics (CFD) experience allowed us to further demonstrate that these criteria were achieved, garnering A3 Building Energy Ratings (BERs) at all five centres.
Each HSE Primary Care Centre attained an A3 Building Energy Rating.
