The SEAI EXEED grant scheme is designed for organisations undertaking energy investment projects. It offers funding to support the additional professional services and capital costs associated with implementing and certifying a project to the EXEED standard. This includes feasibility assessments, energy audits, design reviews, commissioning, and performance verification. Projects can receive up to €3,000,000 in grant support, making it one of the most generous schemes available for energy efficiency and decarbonisation in Ireland.

HPI – Green Building & Sustainability Rating System for Residential
Leadership in Energy & Environmental Design (LEED) is an internationally recognised green building certification system, providing third-party verification that a building was designed and built using strategies intended to improve performance in areas such as energy savings, water efficiency, CO2 emissions reduction, and improved indoor environmental quality.
BREEAM (Building Research Establishment Environmental Assessment Method) sets the standard for best practice in sustainable building design, construction, and operation and has become one of the most comprehensive and widely recognised measures of a building’s environmental performance.
EDGE (Excellence in Design for Greater Efficiencies) is an internationally recognised green building certification system, which certifies buildings that achieve a minimum of a 20% reduction in energy and water usage and embodied energy of the building materials used compared to traditional construction.
