Facilities Management (FM)

FM involves the maintenance and upgrading of the building internal and external facilities on a regular basis. This includes the maintenance of all mechanical and electrical equipment for building functionality, security and safety. Due to our long term involvement in building equipment maintenance, this was a natural progression for Lawler Sustainability and now allows us to offer a full packaged service which our competitors cannot offer. Our business’s goal is to help you create a sustainable, low-cost building. We are helping businesses do this already through ensuring equipment is running at optimal efficiency and is replaced when it is not!

Optimise Your Building Performance with Smart Facilities Management

Using digital innovation our smart FM services will ensure your buildings operate optimally.

Lawler Sustainability provide a comprehensive FM solution for all your facility requirements, whether it be essential building services or bespoke sourcing our dedicated in-house FM professionals can create a packages of works to suit your business. Our FM solution focuses on optimising the performance of your energy equipment as well as maximising asset lifetimes, ensuring that you only refurbish and/or replace energy assets when unequivocally in your interests to do so.

Through our holistic approach, our FM service can be linked to our Lawler Vision Platform, empowering business and building owners with live building operational data, 24/7.

Complete Visibility And Control Over Operations

Giving key personnel (24/7) access to key parameters, which can impact the environment aside energy consumption & carbon emissions.

Lawler Vision facilitates the transition from a myriad of different systems in the market that do not communicate with each other to a unique and centralised source of information for all things energy, sustainability and net zero journey.

Lawler Vison is an IOT-driven Energy Consumption, Cost & Carbon Management Portal, designed to improve communication and energy performance within client buildings – empowering building owners with real-time energy efficiency & sustainability data.

This service allows monitoring, optimisation, verification & automatic identification of faults and abnormalities in energy and water usage, carbon emissions, costs & other important operational parameters. These alerts are very reactive and allow fast response to faults, this bypasses the traditional Facilities Management (FM) route of fault detection.

Once the system is implemented and operational, it can make automatic predictions around ‘normal’ energy consumption and carbon emission trends, and if energy consumption goes outside this range the user/key personnel will be notified.

our experience

Dublin City Council

The eight-year contract with Dublin City Council across three leisure centres, meant investing in new combined heat and power plant, boilers, pumps and heat-recovery air conditioning systems, and in upgrades to the lighting and pool plant. Through our comprehensive FM solution and systems optimisation we anticipated to result in a 30% annual cost saving for the leisure centre, based on €170,000 energy savings and €70,000 annual maintenance savings. Impressively, we achieved savings of 42%.
